Patient Information

While treating you with the highest level of respect and professionalism, and maintaining your privacy and confidentiality, the staff of ELLE Center for Breast Health is dedicated to providing our patients with specialized, state of the art, comprehensive and compassionate breast care.

When you arrive for your first appointment, you will be required to complete our New Patient Forms.  These forms contain important information provided by you regarding your current and past health history and insurance.  If you have access to a computer, you can print and complete these forms prior to coming to our office (see the Forms section of this site for instructions on how to do this).

Remember to bring all of your films (i.e. mammogram, ultrasound, MRI) with you to your first appointment.  If you had your radiologic studies done at the Breast Center at Mercy Suburban Hospital, we can obtain the most recent ones for you.  If your studies were performed at another institution, you will need to call their radiology department a few days prior to your scheduled appointment and make arrangements to obtain them.

You can expect your first appointment to last approximately 30 minutes.  After completing the necessary medical and insurance forms, you will meet with Dr. Lori to discuss your pertinent history and current breast health issues.  A comprehensive breast exam and review of your films and lab reports will follow.  If you require a diagnostic procedure, Dr. Lori will explain which technique is most appropriate for you.   Your procedure will be discussed, in detail, as well as the healing and recovery process and how you will look and feel afterward.

Occasionally, we encounter the need to emergently schedule patients experiencing problems of an acute nature. We do try to stay on schedule; however, there are instances when even the best of planning cannot control your waiting room time. In the case of a long wait or unanticipated emergency, we will be happy to reschedule another convenient time for you.

Our goal is to inform and educate you about total breast health, and what you can do to maximize yours!   Remember, we want you to feel comfortable asking questions.

Please call Kate at ELLE Center for Breast Health to schedule an appointment or answer any questions regarding your initial visit. Our telephone number is (610) 275-1028.
